Mike Kelly CEO

Mike Kelly is Founder and CEO of Brand Value Advisors. Mike works closely with both financial sponsors and their portfolio companies in addressing issues related to brand diligence and valuations, sales and marketing strategy optimization, consumer segmentation, and interim marketing services and sourcing.

Mike has served as the interim Chief Marketing Officer for a number of companies, including Cannondale, FirstOnSite, Schwinn, Sbarro and Sugoi. Mike’s areas of focus are brand building, positioning and transformation, consumer trends, segmentation and loyalty, and product launches.

Previously, Mike was a Senior Partner and Operating Board Member of Ogilvy, New York, where he managed a wide range of brands, including American Express, AT&T Wireless, Ben & Jerry’s, Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Microsoft, Motorola and the NFL. Previously, Mike held senior roles at advertising agencies Amalgamated and McCann/A&L. Prior to which, Mike was a member of Arthur Andersen's Middle-Market Enterprise Group in San Francisco.

Jason Moyer President

Jason is the President of Brand Value Advisors. His areas of focus are strategy creation, organizational alignment, tactical ideation, and client satisfaction. He is expert at conceiving and directing multi channel marketing strategies that are immediately actionable and measurable.

With a strong background in both consumer and business-to-business marketing, Jason’s experience spans a range of industries, including action sports, financial services, healthcare/pharmaceuticals, packaged goods, government, alcoholic beverages, retail, and non profit. Client experience includes: Cannondale, Schwinn, Mongoose, GT bicycles, Sugoi, MasterCard, J.D. Power & Associates, BusinessWeek, Bayer Healthcare, Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, Abbott Laboratories, Genentech, U.S. Coast Guard, United Nations, Carlsberg Beer, Waterford, Live Earth, OxFam, and UNIFEM.

Previously, Jason was SVP, Director of Innovation, at Cossette, where he was charged with creating novel marketing strategies and identifying new revenue streams for clients. Prior to Cossette, he built a successful health & wellness advertising practice at Young & Rubicam.

Ruthana Seng Engagement Director

Ruthana is the Engagement Director with Brand Value Advisors (BVA) in New York. She is the lead project manager on BVA’s market research and brand valuation engagements, with experience in the consumer products, entertainment, media, recreation, luxury and fast food categories.

Prior to joining BVA, Ruthana was a Senior Consultant with Optimor, the brand consulting arm of the WPP-owned consumer research firm Millward Brown. While at Optimor, Ruthana gained extensive experience in conducting brand valuations, product development, repositioning brands, and developing market entry and segmentation strategies for clients such as Coca-Cola, Dell Computer, Deloitte, Epic Records, P&G, Trump Towers and Visa.

Ruthana holds a BS in economics with concentrations in management and marketing from the Wharton School of Business and was also a women's studies major at University of Pennsylvania's College of Arts and Sciences.
